Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights, began at sundown and runs for eight days with menorah lightings and celebrations around the world.

Hanukkah commemorates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem in the second century B.C.E. during the Maccabean revolt against oppressive Greek rulers.

Jews celebrate the holiday by lighting a nine-branch candelabrum, commonly called a menorah, and by giving gifts and playing a game with a spinning top called a "dreidel."

“Some people had concerns,” he said. “I told the shul one thing. Two lines.

I said, number one, everyone is welcome to come to this shul, except people who say other people are not welcome. Second thing is it’s not my synagogue or anyone else’s. It’s God’s synagogue, I’m privileged enough to run it. And anyone who wants to come here and pray is welcome.”

Hollywood Holiday Movies

Israelites now calling themselves Jews

The Jew of today is back once again a slave to the taskmasters (Gentiles).

It must be time once again for those Christ-mas Movies?

Why are the Decedents of Abraham, Jacob (Israel), Hebrews now only called Jews?

Have you ever wondered why the people in the land of Israel are called Jews?

I have so I decided to find out?

Is the end of time super near?

Time once again for those Hollywood holiday movies!

God’s chosen people have gone from the promise to Abraham’s family to be as the sands or the sea to a slave to the rulers of the known world as (David’s Israel) to a tiny country?

When the family of Jacob, the Israelites now calling themselves Jews start to praise Jesus we might start thinking the end is super near!

Why are the Decedents of Abraham, Jacob (Israel), Hebrews now only called Jews?

Long story short however one should read the complete books to 2nd fact my answers?

After the Israelites were ruled by the kings Saul, David and Solomon and of course many others, the kingdom was divided into two, with 10 tribes of Israel and two of Judah.

In 722 BC, what was left to the 10 tribes of Israel was conquered by the Assyrians and the Israelites were dispersed into surrounding nations.

2 Kings 17:1-23 NIV - Hoshea Last King of Israel - In the ...

Because they were assimilated and have no national identity, they are known as the “Ten Lost Tribes of Israel”.

However, some remained in Israel and some moved to Judah (2 Chron. 15:9; 35:18).

In 605 BC and 598 BC, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylonia invaded Judah and in 586 B.C. Jerusalem was destroyed.

Many of the Jews were taken to exile in Babylon. When the Persians conquered Babylon in 538 BC, the Persian King Cyrus permitted the Jews to return to their homelands and many returned to Judah.

Because the ten tribes were long ago assimilated in the Babylonian exile, “Jew” replaced “Israelite” as the most widely-used term for these survivors.

Because of all of this past the Jewish religion is now known as Judaism.

All of the above was the plan of this book is to teach the world both Jew and Gentile that the messiah will, actually has come from the Davidic line and is coming back soon?

Always remember; this blogger is always open for corrections and comments.

American English for those who refuse to hear?

 Isaiah 10:1-4

1 Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees,

2 to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless.

3 What will you do on the day of reckoning, when disaster comes from afar? To whom will you run for help? Where will you leave your riches?

4 Nothing will remain but to cringe among the captives or fall among the slain. Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised.

Isaiah 10:1-4 - NIV - Woe to those who make unjust ...

Same statements in today’s American English for those who refuse to hear?

Isaiah returned to assigned reasons for God’s wrath again!

(1)   Iniquities in administering the laws;

And

(2)   Harsh treatment of those in need.

This is speaking of those who are listened to by others.

It is bad to sin yourself, but to lead someone else into sin through statements you make is much worse.

This woe is spoken to those who lead others astray, with the things they say.

Writing plans for others to live by is very dangerous, as well, when they are things the writer has decided, and not God.

The leader, who writes or speaks, better speak as an oracle of God.

Their writing and speaking must be from God and not from themselves.
