of the Catholic Church’s definition of a sacrament:
A sacrament is an outward sign instituted
by Christ to give grace.
Our Lord instituted the sacraments, and the

Only

“If we confess our sins,
He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins
and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness”
Your
sin is blotted out in 'Heaven' not on 'Earth'!
(1
John 1:9).
God’s
forgiveness is supreme in that He cleanses one from sin or
“blots

(Isaiah

John 20:23

These disciples
are extensions of Jesus’ ministry.

said, when two agree as touching anything on this earth it shall be done of my

This verse does

forgiveness by the Father because of the work of His son
if that sinner has repented and
believed the gospel.
